Christopher Pizzi is an architectural and urban designer with over ten years of professional experience, including work on academic buildings, large apartment buildings, urban design, master planning, pattern books and design codes. Since his first weeks at the firm developing a vision plan for Pascagoula as part of the Mississippi Renewal Forum following Hurricane Katrina, he embraced the pace of urban design work, focusing on urban redevelopment projects for Santa Rosa, Sacramento, San Jose, and San Francisco. Christopher grew up a Red Sox fan in post-industrial New England, and received degrees in architecture from Syracuse & Yale Universities. He appreciates density, clever diagrams and clear spreadsheets. Prior to San Francisco, he worked professionally in London, New York City, and Washington, D.C.
