The RepulseBay project consists of four luxurious single-family houses on a very small, steep lot on the south side of Hong Kong Island. The intent of the design was to take in as much view as possible, from all living spaces. To do this, we created two tall, slender tower houses that overlook the lower two houses, nestled into the hillside. The buildings are organized around a central stair and terraced garden space. Swimming pools on the roofs of each house, with glass fronts and aquarium skylights looking into the living rooms provide drama for the inhabitants of this breathtaking site.
